Lagoon 380 "June Bug"

The Lagoon 380 is a yacht that will impress all sailors and their crew. It's a fast, smooth sailing catamaran that points quite high to windward, and tacks smoothly, with ease. The sailing performance of this boat has "converted" many a monohull sailor to the joys of cat sailing. As monohulls heel and pound to windward, you sail with food and drink undisturbed on the cockpit table, relaxing and enjoying the view.

The interior is light and airy, yet because the teak work is generous, the Lagoon has a warm, luxurious feel that reminds you of its European heritage. The Lagoon 380 is the perfect charter boat. The roomy cockpit flows into the salon almost transparently, giving you a sense of endless room above deck. Combined with the fact that catamarans have expansive deck and "trampoline" space, the charterer will never feel cramped on this vessel. A particularly wonderful feature of the Lagoon, is the open window and doorway from the galley to the cockpit. Food and drinks are casually passed through from the galley and salon to the cockpit, as easily underway, as at anchor.

"June Bug" has the charterer in mind. With SIX house batteries and a 110 AMP alternator to keep things charged, you never have to worry about power. You can use your 110V AC outlets without worry. She has her own, dedicated dinghy (at additional cost), stored well above the water on davits, allowing you to venture out from your anchorage in comfort.

In summary, if you have never sailed a catamaran, be prepared to shatter every myth about the downside of double hull sailing. June Bug sails so effortlessly, you find yourself wondering if you should be working harder. Enjoy!
